Precious Adebola is committed to advancing health and wellbeing through research. She holds a Bachelor of Science Education degree in Biology and a Master of Public Health degree in Health Promotion and Education. She is a fellow of the Human Heredity and Health in Africa Consortium, where she worked on the Eyes of Africa: Genetics of Blindness Project as a research assistant. Precious Adebola is currently a beneficiary of the Covenant Applied Informatics and Communication Africa Centre of Excellence (CApIC-ACE) Scholarship hosted at Covenant University, pursuing a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics. Her research interests include machine learning for infectious diseases and cancer genomics, machine learning algorithms, GWAS, polygenic risk scores, and public health research. She aims to contribute actively to continuing bioinformatics research to develop biomarkers for cancer and drug candidates for malaria.
