Mercy Bella-Omunagbe is currently a beneficiary of the Covenant Applied Informatics and Communication Africa Centre of Excellence (CApIC-ACE) Scholarship hosted at Covenant University, pursuing a Master's in Biochemistry. She has interests in Malaria Research and hopes to contribute to the growing body of knowledge in Africa's fight against Malaria. She also has interests in Public Health, Epidemiologic Studies and Data Analytics. She holds a Second Class Upper Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Federal University, Otuoke, Bayelsa State. She has worked as a Quality Control Intern during her Industrial Training. She also worked as a Science Teacher during the mandatory one year National Service.
