2019/2020- Bioinformatics

Research Interest: - Microbial multiomics, Host-parasite interaction, genotype-phenotype prediction and association studies, Infectious disease epidemiology

A seasoned microbiology research scientist with a record of work experience in the medical research industry and an accomplished bioinformatician. B.Sc. Microbiology, M.Sc. Bioinformatics Scholar and Research Assistant under the world bank sponsored African Centre of Excellence domicile in Covenant University, Nigeria. Skilled in Genetic and Molecular Epidemiology, Infectious Diseases Pathogenesis, Host-Pathogen Interaction, Association studies and Bioinformatics. My research is currently on genetic association studies specifically engaging computational methods to understand how genetic variation influences expressed phenotype (disease or traits) and developing intelligent tools that will learn on available data to predict possible outcomes or clinical implications of the genetic variation in microorganisms.
